Our Services at Bella's Open Arms

Our caregivers are committed to providing a personalized level of quality care services. We understand that each resident has different needs, and our caregivers and support staff emphasize relationships and communication and we are committed to providing the finest board and care home in the community.  

Meal Preparation 

  • 3 Nutritional, well balanced meals, plus 2 snacks per day
  • Monitoring of diet (If prescribed- i.e. low sugar, salt, etc.)
  • Assistance with meals as needed

Housekeeping and Laundry Service

  • Basic housekeeping
  • Regular laundry service
  • Linens, sheets, pillows, and blankets included

Medication Management 

  • Dispensing of medicines as per doctor's orders
  • Medication inventories stored and locked
  • Ordering prescriptions and refills 

Personal Care

  • Arranging transportation to appointments if needed
  • Personal assistance and care as needed for daily living
  • Observation of each individuals physical and mental condition

Additional Services and Activities (*Subject to Change*)

  • The Garden Club: Nourishing hope through wellness. Working together in the garden to cultivate and harvest food and friendships. Nutrition, sustainability and wellness
  • Hairstylists and personal care personnel

Sample of Daily Activities to include Productive Activity, Leisure Activity, Self care and Rest and Restoration:

  • Morning Exercises: Walking, band workouts (which can be done seated), tai chi, yoga
  • Afternoon:  Puzzles, board games, manicures and pedicures, music therapy, hospice services per agreement, leisure activities
  • Self Care- Exercising for brain stimulation like walking which uses care of body and brain
  • Evening: Movie time, volunteer readers, music therapy

*These activities will be created by the staff, residents and administrator in our weekly meetings and conducted and assisted by staff.


Planned Social, educational and recreational activities can include:

  • Picnic in the park, visit to the senior center for additional activities such as painting and other social activities; visits to the library to check out books; ice cream socials to name a few.
